The Advocacy Initiative: Knowledge Exchange Forum

President of Ireland, Michael D. Higgins will launch The Advocacy Initiative’s inaugural Knowledge Exchange Forum.

The purpose of the Knowledge Exchange Forum is to provide a space to support development and learning within the Community and Voluntary sector in the context of its social justice advocacy activity.

The Logon Learn Programme

Log On, Learn represents a scalable approach to digital inclusion for older adults. To date more than 180 schools have trained approximately 2,000 senior citizens with the same number of students participating in the training program.

Older adults can embrace technology with confidence and have skills to research their health conditions, access e-government services, remain connected to family and friends.

EU Funding Brochure

The Committee of the Regions, AGE Platform Europe and the European Commission have issued a brochure presenting EU funding possibilities for regional and local initiatives to promote active ageing and solidarity between generations.

The brochure shows what resources are available and invites regional and local stakeholders to make the best possible use of them, preferably working in partnerships involving several countries.

The brochure presents examples of projects which have received EU funding. It also includes short presentations of the most relevant EU funding programmes to support new active ageing projects.

SocialEnterprise.ie 4th Networking Event
