Senior Entrepreneur: Start Your Own Business National Workshop

‘Senior Entrepreneurs’ is a specially designed training programme, jointly organised by the County and City Enterprise Boards and Senior Enterprise.

The aim of this interactive 2 day residential workshop is to give entrepreneurs aged 50+ the opportunity to develop a business plan for new business. It is suitable for those who would like assistance in taking an idea from concept to commercial reality.

Cost:€75

This includes course fee, food and accommodation in the hotel, subsidised by the County Enterprise Boards and Senior Enterprise.

Seminar on Freedom of Religion and Belief- Implications for Contemporary Ireland

This seminar is organised by Irish Network Against Racism (ENAR Ireland) to explore issues and opportunities arising out of religious diversity in Ireland and to identify strategies to address discrimination.   ENAR Ireland is a national network of organisations working collectively to highlight and address racism.

OLC Ireland Trust Fund Open for Applications

The OLC Ireland Trust Fund is open for its only round of grant applications in 2012. The fund seeks to enhance the lives of marginalised women in Ireland. Small grants are available for organisations working with women in the areas of Addiction, Trafficking, Prostitution Violence and Abuse. Each grant is normally in the range €500 to €5,000

Deadline 31st May 2012

Grants will be made in early September. Proposed projects should aim to begin not before September.

1. Respite Care Grant Scheme
2. National Lottery Grant Scheme

Applications are invited from groups and organisations involved in the provision of Health and Personal Social Services for once off funding for projects.
